Analog Tape to Digital Conversion

Do you have boxes of old home movie tapes in the garage? Do you ever watch them? Wouldn't it be so much easier for your family to have access to these memories on their computers or mobile devices? You're in luck, because I'm now offering video conversion services in the Las Vegas area.

Available Formats

VHS

You probably have boxes of these tapes taking up too much space in your home. You also probably don't have a VCR any more to watch them on.

8mm

These small tapes made for camcorder enthusiasts are much easier to watch after they've been converted to MP4. Who has an 8mm video player anyway?

If you have a unique camera, you probably have unique tapes. No worries though, as long as you still have the camera the tapes were shot on, conversion should be a breeze.

How It Works

1. Deliver your tapes (Home pickup is also available for a small fee)

2. Be patient (Converting video takes time)

3. Get your tapes back, along with your video files.

* Each tape is converted to a .MP4 file and can be downloaded to your personal hard drive or uploaded to the cloud storage service of your choice.

Prices

$5 to $10 per tape, depending on order size

The Technology Used

It's a time consuming process, but if you feel like figuring it out on your own, you can buy the same tools that I use to convert analog video to digital formats . It's a hardware and software bundle by Elgato, available on Amazon. This associate link helps to keep my website alive. Happy converting!
